Cotton waste from the garment industry is sorted, chopped, washed, and pulped. Large sheets formed from the pulp are dried in the sun. The unit makes 300 sheets a day. The dried sheets are then coated manually. Any rejecetd sheets are recycled. The paper sheets are then taken to a small fabrication unit where they are individually handmade into colourful leather-look products.
