These items are eco-friendly products made in the rural outskirts of Delhi, providing much needed
employment opportunities. Cotton waste from the garment industry is sorted, chopped, washed and
pulped. Large sheets of paper are then formed from the pulp, which is dried in the sun. The unit makes
about 300 sheets a day. The dried sheets are then coated manually. Any rejected sheets are recycled.
The paper sheets are then taken to a small fabrication unit where they are individually handmade into
leather look items.
A really smart item that would be an ideal accessory for any office.
